You step into the cabin, and hear a loud crash--- a tree has fallen against the doorway!  A few seconds earlier and you would have been crushed; but now the exit is blocked...

The hermit's shack is filled to the ceiling with boxes and shelves.  You are surprised to see so many things crammed into such a small dwelling.  Books, music, handwritten papers, and all manner of oddities fill the room.  A narrow path leads through the clutter to the northeast.
